Supervisor Opportunities – register your interest

Calling experienced supervisors – register your interest to work with us

As our service is growing, we will likely be looking to add another group supervisor to our team in the near future.

We’re looking for somebody who is experienced in providing supervision and supporting counsellors and trainee counsellors working within a range of orientations. It’s great if you have worked with groups before, but it’s not a requirement. You’ll have an understanding of the work of counselling services in the voluntary sector and experience of working with clients in a time-limited way. You’ll also bring knowledge of or a strong interest in working with one or more of the following client groups: people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, members of the LGBTQI+ community, people effected by poverty and/or health inequalities and anyone else facing multiple marginalisation.

Our supervisors are central to how NEECS operates and how we nurture our teams and the culture and ethos of the organisation. You’ll work closely with the CEO – alerting them of any issues that arise as well as contributing to the development of the service through occasional catch ups and team meetings.

Our supervisors are self-employed and payed at a rate of £45/hour.

There is no closing date at present, but you can register your interest now.

To do so, please email your CV and short statement on why you’re interested in the opportunity (or CV plus short video statement) to mail@neecscounselling.org.uk

You can also use this email to ask any questions about this opportunity.
