Join our Art Therapy Group

We’re delighted to launch our new Art Therapy Group Service, commencing in April 2024.

Working with Lighthouse Art Therapy, we are offering group art therapy for anyone aged 18+.

What is Art Therapy?

Through the process of art-making, we can explore our own thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental way, exploring our emotions that are sometimes difficult to discuss.

How can it help?

Art Therapy can help individuals suffering from low self-esteem, low moods/depression, mental health issues, experienced physical and emotional abuse, self-harm or experiencing suicidal thoughts.

You will have the opportunity to be curious in wanting to learn more about yourself, your relationships with others or help with dealing with past trauma. The group can offer shared experiences and support which can aid the healing process.

When?

Starting from Tuesday 16th April 24 from 5.30pm to 7pm for 6 weeks, in addition there will be 2 individual sessions at the start and end of group art therapy. You must be aged 18+.

Where?

Sessions will take place with Manny Soora, Lighthouse Art Therapy, Unit S10/11 Out of the Blue Drill Hall, 36 Dalmeny Street, Edinburgh EH6 8RG.
