Face-to-face sessions are back as NEECS has taken on a counselling space at The Heart of Newhaven Community (the former Victoria Primary School) on Newhaven Main Street. We’re happy to join the community of like-minded organsiations and independent creative practitioners that work from the Heart. NEECS will continue to offer online and telephone counselling, but with increased demand from our clients, we’re over the moon to be working in person again as well. 

Our special thanks go to Leith Community Fund who supported the renovation and furnishing of the space. Their quick turnaround of our funding request allowed us to go ahead and make the space ours. In order to keep a low carbon footprint, we sourced most of the furniture and fittings second hand from other charities and had a few generous donations given to us as well.  We hope our clients will enjoy being in the space as much as we do.
